PDF Mate processes all PDF files entirely within your browser using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party API. We do not have access to your PDF content, file names, or any metadata.

🔐 No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or share your personal information or PDF files. The extension operates entirely offline after installation. The only network requests made are for license verification (if you choose to activate Pro features via Gumroad).
💾 Browser Storage
We use the browser's local storage API to save your license key and preferences. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

🌐 Third-Party Services
License verification is handled by Gumroad. When you activate a Pro license, your license key is sent to Gumroad's servers (api.gumroad.com) for validation. This is the only external service we interact with.
